Privacy Policy
This policy describes how AgentSec (“we”, “our”) handles information in connection with the applications and games we publish on Google Play (the “Services”).
We design our Services around data minimization: they do not require an account and do not ask you for any personally identifiable information. The only data processed is for anonymized audience measurement and technical stability, as detailed below.
1. Data we collect
Data you provide
None. Our Services have no account creation, sign-up form, or direct collection of name, email address, or contact details.
Data collected automatically (analytics and diagnostics)
To understand aggregate usage and fix crashes, our Services use measurement and crash-reporting tools that collect limited technical data:
| Category | Examples | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Device information | Model, Android version, language, region, manufacturer | Compatibility, aggregate statistics |
| Technical identifiers | Instance/installation ID, application ID | Anonymized audience measurement |
| Usage data | Screens opened, anonymized events, session duration, app version | Product improvement |
| Diagnostic data | Crash reports, error logs, app state at crash time | Stability and bug fixing |
| Network data | IP address (processed then truncated/anonymized by our providers) | Security, coarse geographic approximation |
This data is not used to identify you personally or for targeted advertising.
2. How we use this data
- Measure usage in an aggregate, anonymous way;
- Detect, diagnose and fix crashes and anomalies;
- Improve the performance, stability and experience of our Services;
- Ensure security and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your data and perform no advertising profiling.
3. Third-party providers (processors)
We rely on the following services, which act as processors and process data on our behalf:
- Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) — audience measurement and crash reporting;
- Google Play services (Google LLC) — distribution, security and app functionality.
Google's processing is governed by Google's privacy policy. You can review the Firebase privacy documentation.
4. Data sharing
We do not share your data, except: (a) with the providers above, strictly as needed to operate the Services; (b) where required by law (legal request, regulatory obligation); or (c) to protect our rights, our safety, or that of users.
5. Advertising
Our Services do not display ads and do not collect the advertising identifier for ad-targeting purposes.
6. Data retention
Audience-measurement data is kept in aggregate form for a limited period, in line with our providers' retention settings (as a guide, up to 14 months for usage data and around 90 days for crash reports). Data is not kept longer than necessary for the purposes described.
7. Security
Communications are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Our providers apply industry-standard security measures. As no system can guarantee absolute security, we strive to reasonably protect the data processed.
8. Children
Our Services are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with such data, contact us so we can delete it.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live (notably Quebec's Law 25, Canada's PIPEDA, and the GDPR in the European Economic Area), you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and objection regarding your data. To exercise them, email us at contact@agentsec.ca.
10. Data deletion
You can request the deletion of data associated with your use of our Services. The procedure is described on our Data Deletion page.
11. International transfers
Our providers (Google) may process and store data on servers located outside your country, including in the United States. These transfers are governed by the contractual safeguards and compliance mechanisms implemented by those providers.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes to our Services or applicable regulations. The “last updated” date at the top indicates the current version. Material changes will be signaled within the Services or on this page.
